I’m believe that too now.
So after some phone calls to some banks, I wasn’t able to find a way to send the money without emptying my bank account. I once again explain the web company and explained it to them. They told me I could try to use a Paypal account.
Which is another problem, because I don’t have one, nor a credit card and I really didn’t want to bother any family member with my problem.
So after hours of pulling my hair out – not literally ofcourse - I came up with an idea.

Quickly send a few emails to 2 local web companies asking them if they would be able to do an online payment for me. One replied and told me they could, with just a few extra costs. And finally I can breathe.

The guy from the local company was very helpful and he also read the policy on the website. It’s stated somewhere barely visible that if you want to cancel the account, before the payment is done you have to fill in a cancelation form. NO ONE AT THAT SITE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I SIMPLY MAILED THEM TO TELL THEM THAT. All they said is that if I didn’t pay they would block it. So I assumed that, this would settle it.

I still think they should clearly wrote all of this down at their website. I’m almost pretty sure that I’m not the first person who was victim of this misunderstanding.

Thank anyways for those of you here who read and replied
I always manage to get myself into deep sh!t-a-kee unconventional situations  ………..

but luckily (and hopefully) by tomorrow everything will be over.

Update: And they explain!

Update on my earlier problem: Did I get scammed?

I mailed them back this morning to explain everything (because their phone wasn’t working).
I also said that I’m willing to pay up, but that from my country to theirs would almost triple the amount of money that needs to be paid.

I said to them that I cancelled with 24hours and that if I cancel I shouldn’t able to pay, especially since I didn’t use their service.
They replied to say that the law indeed says that people get a thinking time, but only for goods, not for a service. And what they provide is a service.

I still find it crazy, because all a person would have to do is fill in a fake email, name and address if the person wanted to scam them. I’m not saying that I did that or would do that. The point I’m trying to make is, that their site only requires those things and you get an account. Which meant that if some random person filled in some fake info they wouldn’t be able to track him down, because it’s not like the confirm anything. They don’t have a guarantee for themselves who asks for something. I think they work with, you ask for something, and you pay wether or not you like it or not.

I should have just used my own local webhost

Did I get scammed?

I posted this discussion earlier today on evthreads.com

A year ago I wanted to put on of my websites online and I decided that I would do that with a webhost that’s located abroad, because it was much cheaper than the local one.
You fill in your info and within 24h you have a web account.
You need to pay within 7 days or else the account will get blocked.

I filled in the form and applied. I got my website as promised and need to pay within a week. However, I didn’t like the service they provided, so I mailed them to tell them I would like to cancel my order, because it doesn’t have what I needed.
They said that the webdomain couldn’t be deleted until within one year period, which I know about domains. But that the account would be blocked if payment didn’t happen.
I told them that I wasn’t gonna use the account so they can just cancel it.

They cancelled the account, but now a year later they are mailing me that there still hasn’t been any payment. And to make it clear I haven’t been using the account, because it’s blocked now.
So they mailed me and said that I needed to pay. I told them that they said that if I didn’t want it I need to leave it and it would automatically get blocked.

I mailed them back to ask why I need to pay for something I didn’t use and that I mailed them that I didn’t need their service any longer, because it’s not what I need.
They say that I must pay the costs they made to create and account and a domain. If I didn’t within 3 days they will take legal accounts.

So did I get scammed? I told them that I don’t need them anymore and they say that they cancel the order if theirs no payment within a week.
And now a year later they treat to sue me for something I didn’t even use.
I’ve told them that I would pay them to get it over with, but I don’t like that I’m paying for something I never got to profit from.

So just to ask what do you think?
Just to make it clear I will pay them, although I’m disappointed in them, but yeah… I would like to hear what someone else thinks.

Graphics featuring someone new: RIHANNA

I’ve been listening to Rihanna for a while now. Her music is very nice. I finally got inspired by all the drama in around her life right now, to make some graphics.

^ I personally like this one a lot ^

^ The second one is mostly all about color-play. ^
