Tomb Raider – Anniversary (Finished)

Today I finally finished Tomb Raider Anniversary. I finished the game at about 1.15AM. I’m happy, because I was starting to get tired of it. There are some really stressful parts and levels. I had times when I felt like giving up. I had to go online for tips and pointers very often. Also I browsed for walkthroughs.
After having finished TR Legend within a week, I thought that this would be the same, but it was not. It was much harder and a lot more stressful.

Now that I’ve wasted some time playing games I gotta start to prepare for school, which start next week. When there’s school I won’t have time to play. Not until the next school holiday.
Although my brother bought TR Underworld already, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to play it now or later this year.

Tomb Raider – Anniversary (update)

So I started playing this game last monday, and honestly I thought it was a bit boring at first. Killing animals and exploring tombs can get a bit boring. I’d rather shoot the brains out of thugs and mafia members, like in the latter games like Legend.

But as soon as the first level was over and the game became more difficult and exciting. Like figuring out those damn puzzles, watching out for flames, spikes and crazy ancient centaurs.
I just finished the centaur level and OMG I thought I would never be able to do so. After watching some videos on youtube and reading many sites I’ve finally been able to do so.

So after a boring start, this game is bloody amazing after all :-P

Tomb Raider – Anniversary

Bought Tomb Raider Anniversary today :-)

Let me see how long it takes me to complete this one.
I had played Tomb Raider 1 once, but didn’t finish it. I don’t think I even finished the first level, because I thought it was crappy. Only because I had played it after I had play TR 2 and 3, so yeah that one was sort of outdated.

So with Anniversay I kinda have a chance to play it again, with updated moves ;)

Tomb Raider – Legend (finished)

Filed under: Games — Clayton @ 11:04 pm

I finished playing Tomb Raider Legend today and I freaking loved it

I’ve read that the game is short and yes I agree, it was very short. I’ve played it within a week and didn’t even need a walkthrough as usual with the TR games. But the game itself was awesome and a mayor improvement from the previous games.

I love how the made Lara much more realistic now.

For example, I love how they changed that if Lara jumps in the water you can actually see the water dripping of her skin. I always thought “she’s in the water, but never has a single drop of water on her”.

Also Lara can’t carry too many weapons and stuff in her backpack. I always wondered how she managed to fit all though guns and bombs in her teeny-tiny backpack. Lol

Further, her mouth actually moves when she talks and you can also see her bleed when being shot. (at least I think I saw some damage on her skin once).

But for the rest the game was quite easy. You get a lot of clues and the game is fast. But it’s bloody entertaining and I loved it. Ii even feel like playing it again.

Now to go buy and play the other games: Anniversary and Underworld

Tomb Raider – Legend

Since monday I started playing: Lara Croft Tomb Raider – Legend

and I FREAKING love it :-P

OMG It’s so mindblowing… and the best version of TR so far.
At least much better than the previous ones.

I’m currently in the Japan level and it kicks *ss

The only thing I had to get used to is the camera movement. I like that it’s free to control, but very annoying when in action. But I’m slowly getting the hang of it.

Also love the new Croft Manor… seems to change with every new TR game…

so excited… goes to play
