Who here already had the new Hotmail? My colleague Melissa Huang was the first one I know who had it. Then suddenly I had it a few weeks ago. And I just logged into my mom’s account and she has it too… I love it, cuz it’s totally fetch! :-p Reminds me of a social network site. <3

A laugh and a tear for MJ – RIP Michael Jackson

The show affected me waaay more than I ever expected it to be. I was all emotional and had shaky eyes. And when MJ’s daughter said her farewell and broke into tears so did…. Yes, tears actually rolled from my face. That is a very heartbreaking moment. Even now when thinking about it I can feel my eyes itching again.
See, everyone saw Michael as an entertainer, a musician, an icon, sometimes even “wacko jacko”, but for the first time we saw him as a father…. And that’s something we never knew. And it reminds us that he was a very loving person.
The man lived an interesting life and though it was short I’m sure he lived more then any of us ever will!
That is another reason why I was so emotional.
you see most of the time I’m kinda cold and emotionless. I’ve “toughen” myself over the years, but seeing all this made me realize that life is short and also to never ever give up on your dreams. MJ hadn’t and he has achieved so much.
I myself have big dreams and sometimes wonder if they aren’t a bit “too big” for me to achieve, but watching the life of MJ I now realize that I shouldn’t give up. I need to keep on fighting and believing in myself. Believing that I can achieve all I want.
I’ve never really considered myself a fan of Michael Jackson, but since his dead his music his been all over the radio and the TV and I realize just exactly how many songs of him I knew and how many I loved. And also the very positive message they contain.
Who can forget The Earth Song? One of my most favorite songs ever. So epic and so touching.
Let’s open out hearts and love each other; keep on dreaming and believing and your dreams will come true.
Rest in peace Michael Jackson, you will never be forgotten and live on in the hearts of us all!!!

American Idol: Adam Lambert

I haven’t written much on about American Idol season 8. Except very short when I made that forum set, but just to let you know, I’m following this season just like the previous ones. And this year I have found my ultimate favorite in contestant Adam Lambert, who probably win this season.

Now screw all the controversies around him – the pictures, his past -, the guy can sing and knows how to entertain, just enjoy it.
Adam has been a consistent great performer. They call him theatrical and dramatic, but that’s just the divination of “Adam Lambert” if you ask me. That is what makes him who he is and let him be.
Every week I look forward to his performances every week and he has made history on the show, by getting a standing O from non one other then our favorite judge Simon Cowell. Adam killed that song with the song Mad World.
But my all-time favorite performance of Adam so far on AI is “Ring of Fire”. (see above picture). That performance was so spellbinding and is still stuck in my head. I just had to get that song, so now it’son my ipod. But Adam’s studio recording and live.
This week was steller when Adam stole the show once again. It was rock&roll week and Adam was totally in his zone. From the new haircut to that outfit, Adam OWNED that stage, and he made clear that he’s in it to win it!
That’s why it was an ulimate shock when Adam was in the bottom 2 last week. (Seriously WTF??). I bet the producers switched Allison’s results with that of Adam. (those bloody bastards).
But whatev… very soon a new American Idol will be crowned and my money is on ADAM LAMBERT!!
